Be careful with using resistance training. Resistance training became popular back in the 1990s, and has stuck around today. One method that I see many people doing is tying a parachute type device to the end of a bat and swinging it so the parachute inflates, causing resistance. However, this is a quick way to pull a muscle and teach you very poor mechanics of bringing the bat through the zone effectively.
How does the glove feel on my hand? Baseball gloves should have a comfortable feel to them. Every brand and model may have a different feel which may or may not suit some players. The better the feel the better the performance. Remember style does not always give the comfort one needs. Make sure you try on as many brands and styles as possible when making your choice.
